We Didn’t Fall Short on KNU’s Fall Beautification Day

It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood for our fall grounds clean-up. The green spaces were groomed and tended to by these determined volunteers: Gene Heatly and Boy Scout Troop 5, Michel Daniel, Linda Franklin, Charles Hatfield/Amy Freund, Wayne Hitt, Amy Liniado, Robbie Miller, Carlos Nolf, Cindy Pierce, Steve Roe, Jerry Sanchez, Bill Schurr, Jim Sherrill, Ron Veech and Kim Dunbar, Susan Via, and Peter Weber. On behalf of the entire KNU Board, we thank each of you for your personal contribution! Because of this coordinated effort, we were able to beautify the Edgefield/ Kessler Parkway, Montclair/Colorado (south), Nob Hill/Kessler Canyon, Colorado/Kessler Parkway, Montclair/Argonne, Lausanne/Argonne and Winnetka/Canterbury Court islands, The Kessler Steps, and the North Oak Cliff Greenspace area by the tennis courts. Additionally, a new round of engraved bricks was installed on the walkway leading up to The Kessler Steps. Splendid work by all!!! Mark your calendar for our Spring Beautification Day on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
