Rake & File Report from the Beautification Committee

A shout out to neighbors Greg Evans and Steve Roe for volunteering and crafting the new stonework on the tip of the island at Montclair/Colorado. This corner is constantly getting run over by cars, and consequently plantings don’t flourish! This landscape improvement solves the problem and adds visual appeal. See Snapshots section. A new sign provided by Greenspace has been added to the resurfaced tennis courts, and acknowledges NOCGS, KNU and Dallas Parks & Recreation. See Snapshots section. Another beautification project was completed on Kensington, with the removal of wisteria from the gazebo and the trimming of crepe myrtles. See Snapshots section. The Beautification Committee chaired by Cindy Pierce along with the help of neighborly volunteers, keeps our communal grounds spruced up year-round. Many thanks to these hard-working folks! Consider lending a hand on December 1st for KNU’s fall beautification day, contact beautification@kesslerneighborsunited.org.
