Naughty & Nice Holiday Salsa

Can’t bear another serving of turkey, Chex party mix or that disgusting divinity blob!?! Go ahead. Reach for the trusty salsa, chips and a cold one, holiday-style! Try mixing up cilantro, pomegranate arils (fleshy seeds), fresh pineapple, yellow onion, orange juice and jalapeno. Oh yeah! Now, belly up to the fireplace with a bag of chips, a few friends and Sling. Let the holiday binging begin…

Servings – 8 | Prep Time – little or nothing
Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch cilantro washed
  • 2 cups pomegranate arils
  • 2 cups diced fresh pineapple
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • juice of 1 orange
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 chopped jalapeño optional

Directions:

  • In the bowl of a food processor, measure of cranberries and tear up cilantro leaves, removing stems. Pulse until chopped or desired consistency. Pour in large bowl with remaining ingredients. Stir and refrigerate until ready to serve. Grab a bag of tortilla chips.
