KNU Awarded Heritage Oak Cliff Improvement Grant

The Beautification Committee is excited to be the recipient of a $5,319.60 grant from Heritage Oak Cliff (formerly OOOCL). This neighborhood improvement grant will cover several upgrades to the Kessler Steps including an irrigation system, tree service, and a bronze plaque. Improvements must be made by the June 11, 2019 mandated HOC deadline. Kim Dunbar, Robby Miller, Ron Veech and Committee Chair Cindy Pierce recently completed a “hands-on” second installation of inscribed bricks (see photos in Snapshots section). Thanks guys for the physical muster & time spent for all neighbors to enjoy! Participation in the brick program continues to pave the way! Click here to dedicate a brick. The revitalized Kessler Steps have not been officially re-opened by the City of Dallas but are currently pedestrian-friendly. Take a stroll and enjoy the quietude along this historic path…
